CRIN Trac: Ticket #67: S3QL 2.17 has been released

This is worth noting:

From the changelog:

2016-03-08, S3QL 2.17

The internal file system revision has changed. File systems
created with S3QL 2.17 or newer are not compatible with prior S3QL
versions. To update an existing file system to the newest
revision, use the s3qladm upgrade command.

https://groups.google.com/forum/?_escaped_fragment_=topic/s3ql/t36XMqiS5TU#!topic/s3ql/t36XMqiS5TU

Currently Debian unstable has 2.15:

https://packages.debian.org/stretch/s3ql

But it should update soon.

hours
                changed from 0 to 0.1

totalhours
                changed from 0.1 to 0.2

Woah, latest email from Nick on the list:

I'm afraid S3QL 2.17 has shipped with a bug in the file system upgrade
procedure. Please do not use this version (the tarball has been removed
From BitBucket). I will release a fixed version shortly.

Good job an upgrade wasn't rushed!

hours
                changed from 0 to 0.1

status
                changed from new to closed

resolution
                set to fixed

totalhours
                changed from 0.2 to 0.3

This upgrade was done with a regular Debian package update:

s3qladm --version
S3QL 2.17.1+hg2

Closing.

Note that the regular Debian package update cause some issues, see ticket:70.
