Crin3 ethernet interface fails to come up after a reboot

Description

After updating the kernel on Crin3 I rebooted it and then couldn't connect to it apart from using VNC.

  • Add Hours to Ticket changed from 0 to 1.25
  • Total Hours set to 1.25

The network had to be manually configured:

ifconfig eth0 93.95.228.198 netmask 255.255.255.0
route add default gw 93.95.228.1

This took quite a long time to work out, thanks to support from the #debian-next channel on IRC, ifupdown wasn't installed.
